How to Use:

To use as a standalone alarm system, follow these steps:

1. Connect the call point to the alarm siren and power source. For a power source of 9V, 12V, or 24V DC, connect the positive power to LOOP + of the call point, and the negative power to LOOP - of the call point. Connect another LOOP + to the + of the siren. The switch terminal with the black wire should be connected to the - of the siren. Push in and pull down on the handle to activate the normally-open alarm switch. Once the handle is latched in the down position, the word "ACTIVATED" will appear in bright yellow at the top, with a portion of the handle sticking out at the bottom as a visible flag. The siren will sound.

2. To use with a conventional panel, connect the fire alarm control panel zone wire to the terminal loop(+) and loop(-) with an unpolarized wire. If the manual call point is located at the end of the zone wire, a 5.6K resistance should be connected to the terminal loop(+) and loop(-).

The dual action pull station comes with a key lock feature. The PUSH IN/PULL DOWN handle latches in the down position to clearly indicate that the station has been operated. It has an aesthetically pleasing and highly visible design.

For standalone alarm use, connect a 9V DC, 12V DC, or 24V DC power source. Connect the power anode to Loop +, the power cathode to Loop -, and another Loop + to the + on the backside of the siren. The switch terminal with the black wire should be connected to the - on the backside of the siren.
