HES 9400 Electric Strike Slim line Surface Mounted Stainless Steel Dual Voltage ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 & UL Certified

The HES 9400 Electric Strike is a slim-line, surface mounted solution designed to work with rim exit devices featuring a 1/2" throw latchbolt. Its components are fully enclosed within a 1/2" thick stainless steel housing, eliminating the need for any frame cutting during installation. To install, simply place the electric strike on the frame's surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and secure it in place. A 1/8" spacer plate is included to accommodate different door gaps.

Achieving Grade-1 standards for strength and performance, the HES 9400 is field selectable for both fail secure and fail safe operation, as well as for 12 or 24VDC power. The electric strike features a sleek cover design that conceals mounting screws, providing a polished appearance. Other notable features include its stainless steel construction, tamper-resistant design, and the ability to accommodate up to a 1/2" Pullman latch.

Standard features of the HES 9400 Electric Strike include one 1/8" spacer plate, a decorative cover for enhanced aesthetics, and a high level of endurance with a static strength of 1,500 lbs and dynamic strength of 70 ft-lbs. The electric strike is also horizontally adjustable, non-handed, and has an internally mounted solenoid.

This electric strike is suitable for installation in both metal and wood frames (wood screws not included). It comes in a Satin Stainless Steel color and is certified to meet ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 standards, as well as being UL 1034 burglary-resistant listed and suitable for outdoor use. Additionally, it is UL 294 listed and RoHS compliant.

Electrical specifications include dual voltage 12/24 VDC with 450 mA at 12 VDC and 250 mA at 24 VDC for continuous duty. The HES 9400 also comes with a SecuriCare five-year, no-fault, no questions asked warranty for added peace of mind.
