The 9600 Series is a windstorm rated, surface mounted electric strike designed to accommodate rim exit devices with a 3/4" throw latch. It was the first of its kind to meet the demanding requirements of ANSI Windstorm testing, showcasing its strength and durability.

This electric strike features a 3/4" thick stainless steel housing that completely encases all components, eliminating the need for frame cutting during installation. The process is simple - just place the strike on the frame surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and install. It can be field selected for fail secure or fail safe operation, and is compatible with 12 or 24VDC systems.

Key features of the 9600 Series include its ability to install on metal or wood frames, a separate base and cover for easy adjustments, stainless steel construction for durability, tamper resistance, and the capacity to withstand static strength of 2,000 lbs and dynamic strength of 120 ft-lbs. It is also endurance tested for 1,000,000 cycles and has horizontal adjustment capability.

This electric strike is suitable for metal or wood frames and comes in a satin stainless steel color (630). It operates on dual voltage of 12/24 VDC with a current of 450 mA at 12 VDC or 250 mA at 24 VDC. It is tested and certified to meet various standards, including ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1, UL 1034 burglary-resistant listed, and UL 294 listed. It is also RoHS compliant and meets ANSI-ASTM E330 standards.
