The standard Wiegand format, an open and widely-used industry standard, is accepted by almost all access control systems. It includes 2 parity bits, an 8-bit facility code, and 16-bit card number fields. The Wiegand interface connects card swipe mechanisms to access control systems.

Please note that the software is only compatible with Windows PCs, not MAC computers. This system supports 4 doors and 4 readers, controlling up to 20,000 users and storing up to 100,000 event buffers. Communication is via TCP/IP, with a database supporting Access and SQL. The input format for readers is Wiegand 26-40 bit for all 125KHz or 13.56MHz card readers with compatible protocol.
