PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

INTRODUCTION The HBK-A03 Digital Keypads offer the Digital Keypad Controller or Wiegand output for universal compatibility with access control systems. Featuring an outdoor-rated 12-key plastic 2'x6' keypad with silicone rubber keys, the HBK-A03 keypads come preset in 'Digital Keypad Controller' mode from the factory. It is important to switch the keypad to 'Wiegand Mode' when interfacing with Wiegand, and the user manual contains detailed instructions for this. The keypads support full programming from the keypad, allowing for Card, PIN, Card + PIN, or Card or PIN access. They can also function as a standalone keypad, with adjustable door open time and very low power consumption. Additional features include backlit keys, lock output current short circuit protection, a bell function with support for an external bell, and audible keystroke echo. The working status is indicated by red, blue, white, yellow, and green LED indicators. The keypads can be connected to an external reader using the Wiegand 26 input or to a controller using the Wiegand 26 output.

KEYPAD SPECIFICATION The HBK-A03 Digital Keypads operate at 12VDC and support 125KHz ID cards. They have a time delay ranging from 0 to 99 seconds, with a capacity of 2000 card users and 500 PIN users. The idle current is 50mA, and the keypads have an IP66 waterproof rating. Constructed with a zinc alloy enclosure and plastic keys, the keypads weigh 1.01lb and measure 4-7/8" x 2-33/64" x 1-9/32". They are compatible with EM standard cards, but do not support some encrypted cards like HID, Cobra, and APCiK.

REMOTE CONTROL The kit includes a remote control for opening doors remotely, with a fixed code and the ability to be easily programmed. The remote operates on a frequency of 433MHz and features two keys for Momentary, Toggle, or Latched operations. The transmitter working voltage is 6VDC, with a battery life of 50,000 cycles. The compact remote measures approximately 58x33x12mm / 2-9/32" x 1-19/64" x 15/32".

HBK-A03 DIGITAL KEYPAD The HBK-A03 Digital Keypad offers flexible compatibility with access control systems, mounts on narrow mullions, and is constructed with durable materials for indoor or outdoor use. It features red, green, and blue status LEDs, as well as audible keystroke echo.

CAUTION It is important not to fix the screw of the armature plate too tightly to ensure proper elasticity for the rubber ring. Keeping the surface of the lock clean is also crucial to maintaining optimal performance.

ELECTROMAGNETIC LOCK The electromagnetic lock has a size of 250x48.8x27.9(mm) / 9.84" x 1.92" x 1.10" and a holding force of 280kg / 600Lbs. It operates on 12 or 24VDC, with a current draw of 12V/520mA or 24V/260mA. The lock is suitable for wooden, glass, metal, or fireproof doors, with a surface temperature below +50℃ / 122℉ and an operating temperature of -10℃~+55℃(14℉-131℉).

POWER SUPPLY The power supply accepts input voltages of AC110-240V and frequencies of 50-60Hz, providing an output voltage of 12VDC 3A. Housed in an aluminum alloy enclosure, the power supply has dimensions of 4-29/64" x 3-5/64" x 1-17/64" [113x78x32mm].

PUSH TO EXIT BUTTON The push to exit button features a stainless steel panel, steel button, and a current rating of 3A@36VDC max. It operates within a temperature range of -10℃～+55℃(14℉-131℉) and a humidity range of 0-95% (relative humidity).

KEYFOBS & CARDS Operating at a frequency of 125KHz, the keyfobs and cards have a reading distance of up to 5cm. Each keyfob has a unique ID number and operates as a standard EM card for contactless transmission of data and energy.
