Proximity RFID Card Reader for Door Access Control System

The Wiegand format, consisting of 2 parity bits, 8-bit facility code, and 16-bit card number fields, is an open industry standard widely accepted by almost all access control systems. Used to connect card swipe mechanisms to access control systems, it offers a maximum reading distance of 6cm and is waterproof with an IP66 rating.

With ultra-low power consumption of less than 50mA and support for wiegand 26bits or wiegand 34bits output formats, this device boasts a fast response speed with a door opening time of less than 0.3s.
