Product Description Wiegand Format: The standard 26-bit Wiegand format, an open format widely used in the industry, is accepted by almost all access control systems. It consists of 2 parity bits, an 8-bit facility code, and a 16-bit card number field. The Wiegand interface is commonly used to connect a card swipe mechanism to an access control system.

Installation: 1. Remove the back cover from the reader 2. Drill holes on the wall for the self-tapping screws and cable 3. Insert rubber plugs into the holes 4. Secure the back cover with self-tapping screws 5. Thread the cable through the hole 6. Attach the keypad to the back cover

The RFID card reader requires a Wiegand protocol access controller to operate, supporting Wiegand 26-bit or Wiegand 34-bit output format, with ultra-low power consumption and high stability. It only works with standard 13.56MHz IC cards and cannot support certain encrypted cards.
