Warm Tips: Before installation, please confirm that the voltage is 12VDC and distinguish between the positive anode and cathode of the power supply. For wiring between the reader and controller, use a minimum 22 AWG wire with a maximum length of 100 meters. When using external power, it is recommended to use the same power ground (GND) as the controller panel. We suggest using a multi-strand twisted pair cable to connect the card reader to the access controller. If there is no need for prompt lights and buzzer feedback, do not connect the LED and BEEP wires.

Wiegand Format: The standard 26-bit Wiegand format is widely used in the industry and consists of 2 parity bits, an 8-bit facility code, and a 16-bit card number field. Most access control systems accept this format, which is commonly used to connect a card swipe mechanism to the access control system.
